My artist dolls come in a variety of mediums, designs and types. I handcraft reproduction dolls similar to china dolls, Izannah Walker, as well as dolls similar to Emma Adams Columbian doll. My love for history and dolls, I try to recreate dolls that often were found in the periods of 1860 to the turn of the century.
My own unique creations often are inspired from well known stories, and I try to adapt my dolls to my own version of those stories.
Mediums I use are cloth, paperclay, sculpey, fabric, trims, paints and more. My imagination as well as use of mediums is never confined. Each work is created on a individual basis. So often no two pieces are ever alike!!
I also have spent the last five years exhibiting my dolls in the Doll Show of our local fair, and often have taken blue ribbons as well as Best in Show for my dolls.
